Part 1: Create a front cover and masthead for an independent sports magazine.
Part 2: Design the layout for a featured article celebrating pioneering female athletes, spotlighting their ground-breaking journey into the elite mainstream of sports.
APPROACH
The narrative of women breaking through into the mainstream is illustrated through the use of imagery breaking out of itself. The black and white colour palette represents being in the shadows whilst the bold pink, serves to celebrate their triumphant journey.

SOLUTION
Utilising unconventional formatting to mirror the unexpected paths of these women. Bold typography is used to establish a clear hierarchy for headers, while the strategic use of white space contributes to visual balance.
