IT ALL STArTed WITH AN IDEA.
To re-brand Nescafe Gold Blend Espresso as a serious rival to coffee beans. For a new audience of young coffee connoisseurs so that they can make a quick, quality brew in an instant.
APPROACH
A humorous approach with a touch of mockery to coffee connoisseurs and the processes they go to create their brew. The idea formed two parts; Batch Coffee and the Rebel. Batch, a sophisticated coffee, whilst Rebel is proud to be instant and appalled Batch is trying to be something its not.

SOLUTION
To set itself apart, tone of voice plays a big role in the storytelling. Whilst the contrast in typography, ‘serious’ serif font with handwritten rebel scrawl brings a unique edge to the brand.
